概要 A mobile agent system is a distributed system that is constructed from software modules called “mobile agent” which are able to work autonomously and migrate between machines. A mobile agent is able to continue working on migrations thus which carry program codes. However, as the scale of software becomes larger, so the number and the size of program codes becomes greater, and thus the mobile agent system’s performance decreases because a mobile agent has to carry program codes on the migrations. In this paper, we propose a mobile agent migration mechanism based on program code caching and evaluate its validity.
