概要 Mobile sensing is expected to be used not only in urban areas but also in mountainous and coastal areas where communication infrastructure is not well developed. Therefore, offline support is required for sensing systems and applications. The specific synchronization mechanisms and details required for offline support have not been clarified. Therefore, this study clarifies the requirements and automated testing methods necessary for offline support functions. We also evaluated the results by implementing them in an Android application. As a result, we found that the offline-enabled function worked well under all Android activity and network connection conditions and that local data was automatically synchronized to a remote database in the background when the mobile device went online. In addition, we confirmed that local data synchronization to the remote database is ensured even in the case of application crashes or other failures.
