|
A mobile agent is an autonomous software module which can migrate between different computers via computer networks. A paradigm and a behavior of mobile agents are designed like humans and whose society such as collaboration and competition among people. This feature of mobile agents is assumed to contribute to the ease of management for microservices because microservices are hard to be managed these life cycle and relations among them as a distributed dynamic software module. The problem area of microservice architecture partly overlaps with mobile agent technology. This paper discusses an application of mobile agent technology to microservice architecture and shows requirements for designing a mobile agent framework to manage microservices on the web.
